The scientific program will be in a single-stream session and will include: • 10 plenary lectures • 28 selected contributions • short "hot-spot" presentations • posters • one roundtable • company presentations • networking opportunities.

Contributions are invited for oral, “hot spot” or poster presentations at the conference, in particular covering the areas of peptide drug discovery and development such as: • lead identification • molecular characterisation • SAR studies • peptide-receptor mapping • delivery systems • molecular pharmacology • industrial scale peptide production • clinical trials • how to bring a new drug to the market.

Accepted abstracts will be made accessible via the conference website four weeks prior to the meeting. To ensure efficient processing, authors must submit abstracts using the Online Submission Form only. A Proceedings Book containing the abstracts of all accepted contributions will be published and made available at the NP2DCongress.

The deadline for submission of abstracts for all presentations is: 
17 September 2004.

A condition of submission is that, if accepted, the paper will be presented at the NP2D Congress by one of the authors.
